Project Manager

Job Details :

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

 

Responsibilities and Qualifications :

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, designers, and subcontractors.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and team members; provide regular project updates.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations; conduct regular project reviews.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively and efficiently; monitor project expenditures.
  • Problem Solving: Address any issues or changes in project scope quickly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of project management experience in an engineering consultancy or related industry.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills; proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Knowledge: Understanding of engineering principles, project lifecycle, and relevant industry standards.
