QA/QC Inspector (Electrical)

Job Details :

A QA/QC Inspector (Electrical) ensures that electrical systems and installations meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. They are responsible for inspecting, testing, and overseeing electrical work to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and safety standards.

Responsibilities and Qualifications :

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and tests on electrical systems, components, and installations to verify compliance with design specifications and standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all electrical work is performed according to established quality standards and project specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and compliance issues, and generate reports for review.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and report any non-conformances or issues, and work with the team to implement corrective actions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of electrical projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a QA/QC Inspector or in a similar role, preferably in electrical systems.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO standards, or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations; excellent attention to detail; and effective communication and problem-solving skills.
