Finishing Engineer

 Responsibilities:

1. Supervision of Finishing Works:
   • Oversee the installation and completion of finishes such as plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, carpentry, ceiling work, and wall coverings.
   • Ensure that all finishing materials are applied correctly and according to design specifications and industry standards.
2. Quality Control:
   • Inspect work at various stages to ensure it meets the required quality and adheres to the project’s technical drawings and standards.
   • Resolve any issues or defects during the finishing phase by coordinating with contractors and workers.
3. Coordination with Other Teams:
   • Work closely with architects, interior designers, project managers, and other construction professionals to ensure that the finishing works are completed according to the overall vision and timelines.
   • Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors to ensure that finishing materials are delivered on time and meet project specifications.
4. Project Planning and Execution:
   • Plan and schedule finishing tasks to ensure timely completion within the project’s deadlines.
   • Manage labor and resources to ensure efficient use of materials and manpower.
5. Safety and Compliance:
   • Ensure that all finishing works comply with safety standards and building codes.
   • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

 Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and finishes, including flooring, paints, tiles, woodwork, etc.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot minor defects and ensure high-quality finishes.
• Problem Solving: Resolve issues related to materials, labor, or unexpected construction challenges.
