Commercial Manager

Job Details :

A Commercial Manager in a business consultancy company oversees the commercial strategy, ensuring profitability and growth. This role involves managing client relationships, developing business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver high-quality consultancy services.

 

Responsibilities and Qualifications :

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and achieve financial targets.
  2. Client Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  3. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation and proposal preparation.
  4. Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage budgets, pricing strategies, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
  5. Project Coordination: Work with project managers and teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  6. Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions and identify growth areas.
  7. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers to secure favorable terms.

Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in a commercial management role, preferably within a consultancy or professional services environment.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong understanding of commercial strategies and financial management.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and client needs.
    • Proficiency in project management and business development.
  4. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CIMA, PMI) can be advantageous.
