Egypt spends $368mln on utility projects in New Alamein City

Ahmed Ibrahim, Head of the New Alamein City Authority, revealed to Asharq Business that EGP 18 billion has already been invested in utility projects within New Alamein City.

Looking ahead, the authority is set to initiate additional utility projects with a total value of EGP 20 billion. Ibrahim also noted that the authority is currently reviewing proposals for the allocation of 500 feddans in New Alamein City to Egyptian real estate companies.

In addition, he highlighted ongoing investments of EGP 25 billion in the city’s industrial zone. So far, 2,400 feddans out of a total of 5,500 feddans in the zone have been allocated to various firms and developers.
