On May 14, 2024, Deputy Minister of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing, Talal bin Mohammed Al-Khunaini, inaugurated the second edition of the Saudi Real Estate Development and Ownership (SEREDO) exhibition in Jeddah. The four-day event, held at the Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Center, focused on exploring opportunities in the real estate development sector, fostering expertise exchange, and strengthening both local and international partnerships.
SEREDO 2024 brought together leading real estate developers, providing a platform for showcasing innovative real estate projects to professionals and interested parties in the industry. The event also aimed to build new partnerships and collaborations among key players.
The exhibition featured diverse sessions covering important real estate topics, including market trends, the use of geospatial data to shape new real estate opportunities, strategies for professionalizing real estate auctions, entrepreneurship and innovation in the sector, real estate funds, and negotiation techniques for brokers. These discussions involved a range of officials, experts, and industry specialists.
Several major real estate developers, banks, and financial institutions participated in the event, showcasing the latest housing projects and financing solutions for Saudi citizens. These initiatives support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 housing program, which aims to increase homeownership rates to 70%, while promoting real estate sector development, sustainability, and financing diversity.
