Saudi Arabia’s National Housing Co. (NHC) has been recognized as the top real estate developer in the GCC for 2024, following impressive sales of SR13 billion ($3.47 billion) in the first half of the year. This accolade was highlighted in Construction Week Middle East’s report, which ranked the top 50 real estate developers in the GCC based on various performance criteria.
During this period, NHC successfully executed 130 projects in collaboration with real estate developers across different regions in Saudi Arabia. As a major player in the Middle East real estate sector, NHC remains committed to improving housing and living standards, with a strong emphasis on sustainability. The company ensures that its housing developments are environmentally friendly and future-proof, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s broader mission under Vision 2030.
Vision 2030 aims to enhance services and unify efforts across various sectors, with a goal of raising the homeownership rate in the Kingdom to 70 percent. As the largest enabler of the real estate development sector and the primary developer of suburbs and urban communities in Saudi Arabia, NHC is at the forefront of these efforts. The company currently manages nine suburbs and six residential districts, covering a total area exceeding 100 million square meters.
Looking ahead, NHC plans to deliver 300,000 homes by 2025 and establish nine meticulously designed residential suburbs. These communities are envisioned to offer modern, connected living spaces that cater to the needs of contemporary lifestyles. Additionally, NHC is focused on ensuring high-quality supply chains and promoting the use of sustainable construction materials. This approach aims to increase the availability of real estate with housing options that meet global standards, contributing to a robust and sustainable housing market in the Kingdom.
