Saudi Arabia’s National Housing Company (NHC) has been named the leading real estate developer in the GCC for 2024, achieving sales of SR13 billion ($3.47 billion) in the first half of the year.
According to a report by Construction Week Middle East, the ranking is based on various criteria that highlight the achievements of the region’s top 50 real estate developers.
NHC, a key player in the Middle East’s real estate market, executed 130 projects during this period in collaboration with developers across Saudi Arabia. The company is committed to enhancing housing standards with a focus on sustainability, ensuring that its developments are environmentally friendly and future-proof.
These efforts are part of Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to improve living conditions and increase homeownership rates to 70% by 2030.
As the Kingdom’s largest real estate enabler and developer of suburban and urban communities, NHC oversees nine suburbs and six residential districts, covering more than 100 million square meters.
By 2025, NHC plans to deliver 300,000 homes and establish nine well-designed residential suburbs, offering modern, connected communities. The company is also focused on ensuring high-quality supply chains and promoting sustainable construction materials, aiming to provide globally standardized housing options and expand the Kingdom’s real estate offerings.
