Oxford, UK – Savills has announced the appointment of Emily Slupek as a new director in its Oxford project management team. With over 20 years of experience in the built environment, Emily brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in managing complex development projects, particularly in the science and technology sectors.

Prior to joining Savills, Emily led the project management team at Bidwells, where she played a pivotal role in various significant schemes. Her portfolio includes the redevelopment of British Land’s bulky retail space on Botley Road into a cutting-edge 300,000 sq ft laboratory facility, the new Innovation Quarter building at Harwell, and the SOMIL mini cyclotron and hot cells laboratories for Oxford University.

In addition to her project management expertise, Emily is an active participant in industry discussions, frequently engaging in conference panels, roundtables, and thought leadership initiatives.

At Savills, she will be responsible for leading and expanding the Oxford project management team, fostering collaboration with teams in Cambridge, London, and Savills Science.

Simon Collett, head of Business Property Consultancy (BPC) at Savills, expressed enthusiasm about the strategic addition of Emily, stating, “This is an exciting strategic hire to support our growing presence in project management within the Oxford science, tech, and education sectors. Emily has an impressive history of working on significant projects in the Oxford market, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the team to lead client projects and enhance our market share.”

Emily remarked on her new role, saying, “I’m excited to join Savills at a time when the company has strong ambitions to expand the project management team in Oxford and deepen its engagement in the science, tech, and education sectors. These sectors are crucial for innovation, and I am proud to have the opportunity to help deliver more critical space to meet the market demands in Oxford. I look forward to collaborating with the Oxford team and the wider Savills business to achieve outstanding results for our clients.”
