The Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) has introduced a new online portal to simplify the process for clients seeking to hire engineering firms. This platform allows users to specify their service needs and select firms operating in particular regions of the Kingdom. Additionally, it provides an overview of the rates charged for different types of engineering services.
Accessible at saudieng.sa, the portal offers information on service providers in areas such as surveying consultancy, design contracts, boundary supervision, and turnkey contracts.
Abdel Nasser Al-Abdul Latif, Secretary-General of the SCE, highlighted that this initiative will foster greater competition and transparency among service providers. He also emphasized the Council’s ongoing efforts to regulate the Kingdom’s engineering sector and enhance digital services, making it easier for clients to find Council-registered firms that suit their requirements.
