Malahi Leisure has made significant strides in expanding its presence in the entertainment sector by entering into three pivotal agreements with prominent real estate developers. Among these is a noteworthy lease with Al-Mutlaq Real Estate Investment Company (AREIC) for a prime 2,626 square meter space located in the vibrant Joy Avenue complex in Riyadh. This new venue will serve as the flagship location for Malahi’s innovative ‘1Noos’ children’s soft play experience, secured under a 15-year lease agreement.
In addition to the lease with AREIC, Malahi Leisure has also signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Retail Real Estate Co and Emaar The Economic City. These collaborations aim to expand Malahi’s self-operated arcade game offerings into new and exciting locations. A standout feature of these arcade machines will be the integration of contactless payment options, enhancing customer convenience and elevating the overall gaming experience.
Founded just a year ago, Malahi Leisure has quickly established a footprint across the Kingdom with its array of entertainment brands, including Fizz, Lambie, Wonus, and Duos. These brands are not only redefining leisure activities but also catering to the growing demand for family-friendly entertainment options among Saudi Arabia’s youthful population.
Mohammed Al Shethry, CEO of Malahi Entertainment, expressed enthusiasm about these new developments, stating, “We are thrilled to open this new chapter at Joy Avenue and join forces with RRC and Emaar to broaden the horizons of our arcade centers. These agreements are a testament to the immense demand for high-quality, innovative entertainment offerings across Saudi Arabia, and they highlight the unique games and technology—such as integrated payments—that Malahi brings to the table.”
