Cayan Group, a prominent real estate investment and development firm, has announced an exciting collaboration with Neom to establish a new Hampton by Hilton hotel. This significant partnership was formalized during a signing ceremony at the International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF) held in Berlin, Germany.
The agreement was signed by Chris Nassetta, President and CEO of Hilton, and Ahmed Alhatti, Chair of Cayan Group. Under this partnership, Cayan Group will take on the responsibility of fully funding and developing the new hotel. Carlos Khneisser, Vice President of Development for Hilton Middle East & Africa, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We’re delighted to be working again with Cayan Group to add another great Hampton by Hilton to our growing portfolio in Saudi Arabia.”
Khneisser highlighted Hilton’s commitment to the expansion of the tourism sector in Saudi Arabia, noting that the company is actively collaborating with both public and private-sector partners to meet the increasing demand for hospitality brands. He added, “We expect to quadruple our presence in the coming years,” reinforcing Hilton’s strategic focus on the region.
Construction of the new hotel is anticipated to begin shortly, with the Hilton-managed property projected to open its doors at the start of 2025. This development marks a significant step in enhancing the hospitality landscape in Neom and aligns with the broader vision for tourism growth in Saudi Arabia.
