Zamil Steel Pre-Engineered Buildings Company, a subsidiary of Zamil Industrial, has successfully secured a significant contract from Bahri Logistics Company for the construction of the ambitious ‘Bahri Bonded Zone’ complex at Jeddah Islamic Port. This project marks a notable advancement in logistics infrastructure within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Bahri Bonded Zone represents a pioneering effort to establish a state-of-the-art logistics center, designed to enhance operational efficiencies in the region. The complex will feature a range of facilities, including a spacious warehouse, a mechanical roof, a mezzanine floor, an attached office building, and several utility annexes, all aimed at supporting Bahri’s extensive logistics operations.
The comprehensive project scope encompasses the design, manufacturing, supply, and erection of a pre-engineered steel structure covering approximately 37,000 square meters. Zamil Steel is committed to ensuring the structure meets rigorous safety and performance standards, tailored to withstand the unique challenges presented by its port environment. This includes rigorous considerations for temperature variations, lateral loads such as wind and seismic activity, and gravity loads, ensuring outstanding durability and safety.
Following the contract signing with Mohammed Mikwar, the Contract Logistics Senior Manager at Bahri Logistics Company, Nawaf Mohammed Al Zamil, President of Zamil Steel Company, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership.
