Flash Entertainment Opens New Headquarters in Riyadh, Boosting Saudi Arabia’s Entertainment Industry and Saudization Goals
Flash Entertainment has inaugurated its new headquarters in Riyadh, marking a significant step in its commitment to fostering growth in Saudi Arabia’s entertainment sector and supporting the Kingdom’s Saudization objectives.
Building on a 15-year regional legacy, which includes orchestrating over 400 major events in collaboration with global brands, associations, and franchises, Flash’s strategic move to establish its headquarters in Riyadh aligns with Saudi Vision 2030. This vision aims to diversify the economy and position the Kingdom as a premier live entertainment and tourism hub.
John Lickrish, CEO of Flash Entertainment, stated, “Saudi Arabia is undergoing transformative changes in line with Saudi Vision 2030, including advancements toward Saudization goals. The entertainment industry is expanding rapidly, and our goal with this new headquarters is to position Flash Entertainment as a pivotal player in advancing industry development, economic diversification, and Saudization.”
The Riyadh office supports Saudi Vision 2030 by fostering new industries and a sustainable economy.
Lickr continued, “We aim to apply our 15 years of experience in executing major global events to cater to market demands, while also creating development opportunities for Saudi nationals to influence the Kingdom’s entertainment industry. There is significant demand for diverse entertainment options, and we are excited to contribute by leveraging our global network of IP partners and top-tier talent.”
Since its inception in 2008, Flash Entertainment has collaborated with renowned global brands such as Disney, FIFA, NBA, UFC, and WWE, as well as various international music icons, delivering unforgettable experiences. The company has also produced events of national significance, including UAE National Day celebrations, Abu Dhabi’s Mother of the Nation festival, and numerous community-focused events, impacting over 10 million people across the Middle East.
Although Flash Entertainment has previously made its mark in Saudi Arabia with WWE Live! events in Riyadh and Jeddah, the new Riyadh headquarters will enable the company to expand its year-round event offerings for domestic, regional, and international audiences.
In the past year, Flash has also ventured into esports with the award-winning Dota 2 MENA Cup and launched the Active Parks fitness initiative in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, in 2021, the company introduced the Regional Artist Spotlight to provide local musicians with a dedicated platform to showcase their talent and gain greater visibility.
